So, I got a new camera yesterday. It's the new Canon Digital Rebel XTi. It's essentially a newer version of my old camera (two models newer, actually). The notable new features are a 10 megapixel censor, versus 6 on my old camera, and a 2.5 inch screen, versus 1.8. Because it's a Canon, all of my old lenses and most of my accessories still work, though I did have to get a new secondary battery.

The first photos I have taken with the camera can be found below. They are taken on a street that is near my apartment complex. Today on my drive home, I was struck with the way the sun was dancing on the now golden leaves all down the street, and I decided that I had to come back with my camera, and so I christened it.
